PostSubject: MLR's blog   Mon Aug 18, 2008 3:35 pm

This is my blog and i will talk about my lego working here.

Today i finished my second scene. It has my marine force unloading an overturned D-2 supply truck. I am about halfway done making my second D-4 TAV, it isn't as coordinated and it has a mix of light and dark grey pieces. I am going to make it open at the back and put a machine gun there. I am going to get some brickarms maybe.

I noticed that the quality the photo of the original "overturned supply truck" scene wasn't very good so i moved onto a grey baseplate and took another photo of it.

In the first reply, i said i am halfway through my second D-4 vehicle. It won't be a TAV, it will be LPV, (light patrol vehicle). I will take out the external gun cabinet at the back but keep the reverse slanted pieces and use them to mount a machine gun or something along those lines. Heres some pics of what i have gotten done so far

New vehicle in the D-series, the D-5 HASV. The D-5 HASV was completed today. I took the body of the D-2 supply vehicle, added some sloping on the front to increase protection from bullets and shells, i added plates on the side which can be moved to cover the load if needed. It still needs alot of work before it will be good enough to show in the D series collection which might be done by around October, because i have to get them all colored completely black before i can present the D series as a whole. It also needs some wheel wells because i am using the D-2 body which didn't have them so it will need them.
(HASV = Heavy Amoured Supply Vehicle)

I am starting to take apart the body of the D-5 and replace the old blue pieces with black pieces.

I have scrapped the D-4s, the D-5s and the D-6, but i have photos of the them all so i can recreate them some time. I am starting the D-7 APC, it can hold three people plus the drivers seat or you could leave some men out and use it for equipment.
