A robot named Curunge.
No particular background, I just felt like building a robot-type thing.

And yes, I know, the arms stink.

Believe it or not, this has inspired me to build. And not even because it's that good (no offense). Weird.

Anyways, I'm going to just come out and say it, the parts I like are the fin, the torso and the feet.

The parts I do not like are the ankles, the shield (make it bigger and more mobile), the crotch (Really throws things off with those understuds and the bowleggedness), the head (Really blocky man, there needs to be a lot more character and snot to make it real epic, this is the biggest problem of this moc), and the gun (Like most people who are just starting to mature in building techniques, no offense again, you've tried to do too much with the blaster, a lot of the time simpler the better, especially when you do it uniquely). The one thing I would do with the chest is replace the nipples with black turntable bases, I THINK that would look better.

I am not trying to come down on you, this showed some good effort and a great theory, you just have to keep evolving it. Never be afraid to test new techniques and piece usage.

Paul

Maybe you feel like you can build, because you could build anything and it would own this. Razz

Why thank you kindly!

the ankles
Neither do I, but I couldn't think of a better way of making them that would allow it to stand without extra support.

the shield (make it bigger and more mobile)
It was kind of a last minute addition...

the crotch (Really throws things off with those understuds and the bowleggedness)
I didn't realize how stupid it looked until I took the pictures...

It's a robot, not a Bionicle... Just remember that...

I suppose you're right...

Well, they were supposed to give the torso a muscular look, but I suppose they do kind of look like nipples. Laughing

Oh, I'm not, but my problem is that I don't know which parts to use until I see them in other MOCs. Then I feel guilty about using them the same way because it feels like stealing...
I dunno, but thanks for the comment parading the sweet scent of pure honesty. Razz

I wasn't asking you to go all Bionicle, maybe just a little Gundam queen

Si, si. It does look kind of like a system Bionicle...

By the way, now that I think about it, how would I get 2x2 turntable bases onto it?

Definitely an improvement, but still a little blocky. Robots stopped being blocky in the sixties.
